Chief Minister P.S. Tamang today attended the Global Investors Meet 2019 at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The meet is attended by diplomats, leaders from corporate sector, senior policymakers, developmental agencies, entrepreneurs and investors from across the globe.
Later in the evening, the Chief Minister held a meeting with Maruti Suzuki India chairman R.C. Bhargava, NITIAayog vice chairman Dr. Rajiv Kumar, director general Chandrajit Banerjee, Bharti Enterprises vice chairman RakeshBharti Mittal and Amazon India head AmitAgarwal.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister discussed about various investment opportunities in Sikkim and also asked them to consider Sikkim as a possible destination for their manufacturing units, an IPR release informs.
