Golay resumes Parivartan Sankalp Yatra from Rinchenpong

GANGTOK: The ‘Parivartan Sankalp Yatra’ of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party resumed from Lower Kamling under Rinchenpong constituency, West Sikkim today.
SKM president P.S. Golay was given a grand welcome by the party workers on his arrival at Birdang village, a SKM release informs.
Golay met and interacted with the villagers and took stock of their grievances. He urged the party workers to reach out to the grassroots with the party’s programmes and policies.
Golay also exhorted the people not to fall prey to pre-poll inducements of the ruling SDF like cheap rice, blankets, adhoc jobs and instead realize their rights to bring a Parivartan in Sikkim.
The SKM president visited the party offices at Upper Chuchen, Takuthang and Bhanjyang during his tour, the SKM release informs.  During the interactions, locals of Kamling lamented on the condition of road, drinking water shortage, pending repair of ICDS centre and carpeting of the road. Golay assured to take up the issues with the concerned authorities adding that the SKM would take up the demands in priority if voted to power.
