Buddhi L. Khamdhak invited as visiting professor by Vienna varsity

Research scholar and Namchi Government College assistant professor Buddhi L. Khamdhak has been invited to the University of Vienna, Austria as visiting lecturer and researcher for a period of two months.
During his two months stay in Vienna, Khamdhak will work as research scholar at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Documentation of Inner and South-Asian Cultural History [CIRDIS] and Visiting Lecturer at the Department of South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies, University of Vienna. In Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Documentation of Inner and South-Asian Cultural History, he will be working on Limboo mundhum and rituals while at the Department of South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies, he will be teaching Limboo Phonology, Morphology and Syntax to the western scholars and university students of Summer Semester, University of Vienna, Austria, a press release informs.
Khamdhak, who hails from Singpheng, West Sikkim is a versatile writer and scholar among the Sikkimese Limboo community. He has contributed towards Limboo language and literature and has authored more than 11 books, which includes Limboo poetry, fiction and research books.
Books authored Khamdhak are widely read both at under-graduate and post-graduate level under the curriculum of Sikkim University, the release mentions.
