SAMDONG
Red Devil FC defeated Young Boys Reshi 3-1 in the first quarter-final of Independence Day football tournament at Samdong.
In the second quarter-final match, Gayzing Service defeated Young Boys Buksom 2-1.

JORETHANG
Truck Drivers Association Jorethang progressed into the semi-finals at Jorethang with three nil win over GJSC Darjeeling today.  
Sanuka Samba was named man of the match.
TYA Kalimpong will face Sikkim Himalayan SC in the first semi-final on Monday.

PAKYONG
Ranipool Girls eased into the final of women’s football tournament at Pakyong with 7-1 trouncing of St. Xavier’s School.  Karishma Rai of Ranipool Girls was adjudged player of the match.
The Ranipool Girls will face St. George’s School, Pedong who thrashed Dikling senior secondary school 10-0. Sushmita Lepcha of St. George’s School was named player of the match.  
The final will be played on Tuesday.
In the men’s tournament, Sikkim Aakraman FC defeated St. Xavier's School Blue by a solitary goal and entered the semi-finals of the tournament. Sukraj Subba of Aakraman FC was adjudged man of the match.
