Amar Subba bags third place in Darjeeling Marathon

Sikkimese ‘Marathon Man’ Amar Subba secured third position in the Darjeeling Hill Marathon on Sunday. He had taken part in the 21.1 km run category. He was presented with a bronze medal and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
Several runners from Sikkim mentored by Subba also took part in different categories of the Darjeeling Hill Marathon. Among them, Phurba Tamang (24) came in 10th position in the 10 km run category. She hails from Lingmoo, South Sikkim.
