Bimal returns from Kolkata

SILIGURI,: GJM leader Bimal Gurung on Friday said his Kolkata trip was to fulfil his legal formalities and not for any political purpose. He was speaking to media at Bagdogra airport here after returning from Kolkata.
“I had gone to Kolkata for legal matters. I met my lawyer and discussed about legal issues. Whatever has to be done, my lawyer will do the needful. It was not a political visit,” said Gurung.
Gurung then headed to Lohagarh tea estate under Mirik block escorted by his supporters. He met former GTA Champa Bivar there whose parents passed away recently.
Gurung extended condolences to the bereaved family. He later inaugurated GJM offices at Panighatta tea estate and Dudhey.
