CM calls on Union IT minister

Chief Minister P.S. Golay on Sunday called on Union Information Technology & Communication minister Ravi Shankar Prasad during his tour of New Delhi.
In his official social media page, the Chief Minister shared that he thanked the Union minister for announcing an independent administrative unit of BSNL. Prasad informed me that the chief general manager will be posted soon in Sikkim and also discussed the fulfilment the Digital India campaign, a vision of Prime MinisterNarendraModi, he said.
“The digital medium has been a boon for us especially during the time of the pandemic which enabled us to carry out various work without any hurdles. The Union minister was kind enough to assure us that the Union government will give maximum support for the development of Special Economic Zone in the State,” posted the Chief Minister.
