Goal: To Educate People about Lotus Buddha and Encourage Physical/Financial Participation in The Prayers Ceremonies Directed by Lotus Buddha to ward off the Pandemic Covid-19 from the World
Dear Editor,

His Royal Highness, the crown prince of Shudodan Kingdom invented a formula to relieve the suffering of all sentient beings of the six different realms. (1. Gods realm, 2. Semi-gods realm, 3. Human realm, 4. Animal realm, 5, Hungry ghost/Pretta realm, 6. hell realm). After the invention of this formula he earned the title Buddha (The Knowledgeable Person of the six different realms.) He taught the formula to his followers/disciples and many of them became Bodhisattva (enlightened). He stated that all human beings possess the necessary requirements to become Bodhisattva, unfortunately the sentient beings of the other 5 realms do not possess the same qualities. As such, it is absolutely necessary for the human beings to learn Buddha's formula with a view to relieve the sufferings faced by themselves and other sentient beings. At the same time if we ignore the present opportunity to become enlightened we cannot expect another chance.

During his last sermons held six months before his passing away HRH the Crown Prince Siddhartha told his disciples about the future reincarnation of all the Buddha's and Bodhisattva in the form of Lotus Buddha (the Buddha of past present and future). At that time, he also said that Lotus Buddha would introduce the Mahayana formula for the benefit of all sentient beings and directed all his disciples to learn the Mahayana formula from Lotus Buddha. The Mahayana school of the thought offers many different approaches to enlightenment and people can choose any one of these paths according to their inclination.

In 800 AD His Majesty the King Thri-Tsung Diwtsen of Tibet invited Lotus Buddha to pacify the deities who had been causing much suffering and destruction in the establishment of Samye University in Tibet. Lotus Buddha accepted the request and went to Tibet via Sikkim. And he was received by Gyalwa Mon Thekong Salang (an incarnation of Bodhisatva) who escorted Lotus Buddha to all the important holy places (lakes, caves, hills, mountains and rivers) in Sikkim. Lotus Buddha discovered many treasures in the country and he named it as BYUL DREMAJONG (meaning abounding in spiritual and material treasures)

Lotus Buddha blessed Gyalwa Thekong Salang with longevity prayer and appointed him as the Caretaker and Gangchenjodgna As The Guardian Deity of Beyul Dremajong thereby enabling Thekong Salang to live for 800 years approximately (800AD to the 17th century, the time when the first Chogyal of Sikkim was enthroned at Yuksom).

Lotus Buddha also predicted that the world will be wrapped and ravished by two spells of pandemics including the current virus outbreak Covid-19 and another one to follow marked by sudden death and no cure whatsoever. Both will decimate the world population, advances in medical science notwithstanding. This calamity will be followed by a phase of cold war which will be waged at home, in the society, in the country and between the countries. This uneasy cultural climate will graduate to the third world war unless a spiritual rearmament is not initiated on time.

In this context, it is probably relevant to allude to another ominous development. In 1960, when Tibet had faded into history, the then Chogyal of Sikkim, who was a seer himself, convened a conclave of all prominent holy men of India, Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan and the meeting came to a consensus that NINE CHEOTANS (Stupas) with auspicious precious treasures impregnated were to be erected at the confluence of the rivers Rathong and Rangeet  to avert further calamites on earth. However, in the eighties, the warnings of the holy men notwithstanding, NHPC decided to erect dams across the Rathang and Rangeet rivers at the foot hills of Tashiding Monastery for hydel power generation. All the CHEOTANS were inundated and destroyed by the reservoirs. This blasphemous development triggered a series of mishaps across the country including the assassination of great leaders. Sikkim could capitalize on its natural resources by erecting a chain of mini and micro hydel power stations without damming the rivers against the directives of the Lotus Buddha. Given the seismicity and fragile nature of the geography, medium, large and mega dams are ticking time bombs pregnant with catastrophes. With lesser investment more efficiency, mini power stations could generate more power and more revenue, apart from feeding the national power grid.

According to the Lotus Buddha Sikkim is the pure land of the present world and the right nucleus for this initiation. THROUGH PROPER PRAYER SERVICE THE TREND COULD BE REVERSED. Prayers offered in Sikkim will have more efficacy and effect given the spiritual treasures it is endowed with. In fact, the Lotus Buddha had convened a meeting of all the guardian deities at four different Holy Spots of Sikkim especially the one at Holy Cave Khandu Sangphook in presence of Dakini Dorjee Phamo. The deities also took vows that in the times of catastrophe they will have a conclave again at the same venue to save the world. At present there is no suitable structure at the meeting place where the main special prayers need to be conducted at Kandu Sangphook cave for the welfare of all sentient beings and to ward off the Pandemic Covid-19 from the country and the world. to construct such a prayer wall of protection it is of utmost importance to build immediately a monastery at the site, accommodating all the guardian deities and dakinis, complying with the architectural and theological specializations in terms of orientation, geometry, and position of various alter rooms meant for various deities and demigods. In this context our benign Government of Sikkim upon our request mooted the proposal to construct a monastery at the holy cave Khandu Sangphook on a priority basis.

However, the specific prayer services and performance of special ritual need to be initiated at the FOUR HOLY SPOTS selected by Lotus Buddha himself in 800AD without further delay in order to ward off the Covid-19 from the country and from the world once and for all. This could be a global initiative with all the likeminded souls and organizations joining hands.
