SORENG,: Sanju Football Academy on Saturday unveiled new jerseys of the academy ahead of the upcoming football season.
The jersey was unveiled by Labour minister M.N. Sherpa during a function held at the academy in Sombaria. The jersey along with rest of the kits is designed and manufactured by Kolkata-based Ambition Sportswear.
"I am very happy to see sponsors coming in for Sanju Football Academy and credit goes to Sanju Pradhan who himself is from the remotest part of Sikkim and with sheer dedication and determination, he is able to reach the highest level an individual can reach. I also personally thank Ambition Sportswear for sponsoring the jerseys along with other kits for the academy,” said minister Sherpa.
The function had SKM CLC president Tika Hang Subba, Sanju Football Academy president Gagan Subba and other executives, and players of the academy.
Academy founder and Indian international footballer Sanju Pradhan was unable attend to the function due to his club commitments.
