The fellowship is open for candidates who Hold an MTech/MSc degree in Materials Science/Chemical/Chemistry or allied fields. They must be proficient in experimental research, data acquisition and critical analysis, and oral and written scientific communication skills. Candidates who have submitted their thesis can also apply.

Description:

Indian National Science Academy (INSA) invites applications for INSA Medal for Young Scientists 2020 from young scientists below 35 years of age. The award shall be made in recognition of notable contributions to any branch of science or technology, recognized by the Academy, on the basis of work carried out in India.

NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Pre-Matric 2020-21

 

Description:

Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, invites applications from students of Class 1 to 10 for the NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Pre-Matric 2020-21. The main objective of this scheme is to ensure that no child is working in any hazardous sector as labour.

 

Eligibility:

The candidates who are enrolled in Class 1 to 10 at a government/government recognised school can apply. One or both parents of the applicants should be working as a Beedi worker, Iron Ore, Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines (LSDM), Cine workers for at least last six months. The monthly income of the family must not exceed INR 10,000 from all the sources except in case of Cine workers where the family income must not exceed INR 8,000 per month or INR 1,00,000 per annum. Also, the applicant must have passed the last examination in the first attempt.

Up to INR 1,840

Description:

The Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India is inviting applications for NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Post-Matric 2020-21 from the students enrolled in Class 11 to post-graduation level at any government institute. The main objective of this scheme is to ensure no child is working in any hazardous sector as labour.

Eligibility:

The candidates who one or both the parents are working as a Beedi worker/ Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines (IOMC) worker/ Limestone & Dolomite Mines (LSDM) worker/ Cine worker for at least last six months can apply. The monthly income of the family must not exceed INR 10,000 from all the sources except for Cine workers where the income must not exceed INR 8,000 per month or INR 1,00,000 per annum. The student must have passed the last qualifying examination in the first attempt.
