Tea, urban infrastructure discussed in CII meeting with Canada trade office

SILIGURI: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised a round table meeting with a trade commissioner from Canadian High Commission at CII conference room Siliguri today.
The meeting had a discussion on the development of the innovative technologies, solutions and services for the sectors like tea, eco-tourism, water resources, smart cities and urban infrastructure and auto components.
Trade office of Canada trade commissioner PaayelKalrasaid North Bengal industry members can identify the potential area for their business by targeting the market structure, which can not only attract the Indian government, but could also get collaboration from the Canadian companies. CII could plan a business delegation to Canada in association with the Canadian High Commission which will facilitate and boost the trade and commerce relation of both the countries, he said.
CII North Bengal Zonal Council chairman Anand Kumar Agarwalsaid there is lot of potential between the two countries for the business development. Canada can provide technology support for tea, he said,
