•    Avoiding Unwholesome diet and taking wholesome food and activities:
The main principle of the Ayurvedic treatment is, to avoid the unwholesome food and activities (NIDANA PARIVARJANA) i.e. the food and activities which are the causative factors of disease and to have wholesome diet according to disease and doshas
•    Effortless and inexpensive diagnostic  procedure :-
In Ayurveda, disease is diagnosed by Nadi Pariksha (Pulse Examination), Prakriti Nirnaya (body constituents ) Astavidha Pariksha (8 folds of examination) etc. which is financially and mentally beneficial to patients
•    Treating root cause of disease:-
Through the  Samsodhana chikitsa (Panchakarma) of Ayurveda root cause of the disease is cleared by equalizing the vitiated doshas, so that the disease does not recur again. Here not only symptoms are treated but also the immune power of the person is increased.

•    Available from Natural Things and less side effect :-
Maximum of the single herbs of Ayurveda are easily available in nature and some are also found in our homes and kitchen which prevents us from artificial hazards.
•    To save Indian Currency from going outside the country:-
A huge amount of money of Indian people is going to foreign medicinal companies for treatment purpose whereas Ayurvedic Medicines are easily available in all over India.
The main aim and object of Ayurveda is to maintain the health of a healthy person and to cure the diseased one. Ayurveda also describes about Dinacharya (Daily Regimen) and Ritu Charya (Seasonal Regimen) and suppressible urges and insuppressible urges for keeping a person healthy. Specific foods for specific diseases, amount of food to be taken in daily life, and also amount of water with procedure and timing is also mentioned in Ayurveda.
