GANGTOK, : A team of 13 young boxers, including
three girls, from various schools across all six districts of Sikkim, have been
selected to represent Sikkim in the 69th National School Games 2025 (U-17
Boxing) to be held at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh from October 28 to November
3.
The team will be accompanied by two
coaches and a manager to guide and support the players throughout the
tournament, informs a press release.
Five officials from Sikkim have been
nominated to officiate during the tournament.
The State Sports and Youth Affairs
department has, in the release, extended its best wishes to all the
participating boxers, coaches, manager, and officials.
