GANGTOK,: The Citizen Action Party (CAP) Sikkim is holding its 6th CEC
meeting on May 30-31 at Ranipool with the two-day event bringing together party
leaders from across the State to discuss critical issues, share ideas, and
strengthen the party’s outreach.

Sikkim press release informs that the CEC meeting on Friday began with a warm
welcome address by CEC vice president Sanju Rai, who greeted all CEC members
and set a collaborative tone for the proceedings.
In
his opening address, CAP Sikkim president Ganesh Rai underscored the
significance of the CEC meeting as a platform for leaders to exchange ideas,
suggestions, and strategies to enhance the party’s presence across various
levels. He emphasized the importance of understanding people-centric issues and
the hardships faced by citizens, which such meetings help address effectively.
Rai
also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his continued
support and for sanctioning a wide range of developmental projects for Sikkim.
He thanked the Prime Minister for virtually addressing the people of Sikkim, as
his scheduled visit was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the

The
first day of the CEC meeting featured the submission of reports by all six
District Executive Councils (Gangtok, Pakyong, Namchi, Mangan, Soreng and
Gyalshing) and 17 Frontal Councils, followed by extensive discussions and
deliberations on key matters. The meeting fostered an environment of
collaboration and strategic planning to address local challenges and strengthen
the party’s grassroots connection, said the CAP Sikkim.
The
CEC meeting is concluding on Saturday with further discussions aimed at shaping
the party’s future initiatives and reinforcing its commitment to the people of
