Anti-Drug Operation: Rhenock Police destroys 665 marijuana plants

RHENOCK, :In a significant crackdown against illegal drug cultivation, the Rhenock Police, under the leadership of the Station House Officer (SHO), launched a three-day mass operation to cut and destroy marijuana (ganja) plants across various areas under the Rhenock block.

The campaign was part of the Police department’s ongoing mission to eliminate illegal drug activities and maintain law and order in the region.

The operation, carried out with active participation from the entire Police team, led to the identification and destruction of approximately 665 marijuana plants.

The intensive drive reflects the proactive approach of Rhenock Police in curbing the spread and cultivation of narcotic substances, especially in rural and remote pockets. By conducting thorough surveys and acting swiftly, the police ensured that illegal cultivation was uprooted before it could be processed or sold.

Speaking on the occasion, officials from the Rhenock Police stated that their team remains vigilant and committed to making the region drug-free.They also emphasized that such operations will continue in the future, with the cooperation of the public, to ensure a safe and healthy environment, particularly for the youth.
