Bista visits Indo-Bangladesh border outpost

SILIGURI, : Darjeeling MP Raju Bista on Wednesday visited the Indo-Bangladesh BSF Border Outpost at Baneshwar Jote in Phansidewa, Darjeeling. This outpost has played a significant role in maintaining security amidst challenging terrains.

After visiting the border, Bista said that the Border Security Force (BSF) plays an indispensable role in safeguarding India's frontiers, standing as the first line of defense against infiltration, smuggling, and cross-border threats.

I deeply appreciate the courage and dedication of our BSF jawans, who operate in harsh conditions to protect our nation's integrity and promote harmonious relations with neighboring countries, said the MP.

MLA Phansidewa Durga Murmu and other local leaders were also with Bista during the visit.
