GANGTOK,: Major decisions were taken during the cabinet meeting held at Tashiling Secretariat on Thursday. The cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister P.S. Golay, an IPR release informs.
The cabinet decided that 30% of total vacancies will be reserved for the in-service teachers for the promotion from PPT to PRT, PRT to GT, and GT to PGT.
It was also decided that regularisation of service of probationary teachers with break in service having not more than two years and occurred once in his/her entire service will be entertained as per the recommendation of the committee constituted by the Education department.
Regularization of land donor temporary employees will be done after completion of three years of continuous service, the cabinet decided.
Regularization of PwD (Persons with Disabilities) employees working on temporary basis in various departments, Government of Sikkim will be done after completion of five years of continuous service, the cabinet further decided.
An honorarium of Rs. 5000 per month will be granted to the Mid-Day Meal cook engaged with the recommendation of the School Management Committee.
The Cabinet directed the Education department to move the proposal for creation of cadre for CRC (Cluster Resource Coordinator) and BRC (Block Resource Coordinator) under the Education department, the release informs.
