CM Gold Cup: Mizoram club defeats Sikkim Police

NAMCHI,  (IPR): Entering the 4th day of the ongoing 11th All India Chief Minister's Gold Cup Football Tournament, the 4th match kicked-off between the teams of Ramhlun FC (Mizoram) and Sikkim Police at Jorethang Football Stadium Thursday.

MLA Temi-Namphing and Advisor for Excise department and Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries, Bedu Singh Panth, was seated as the chief guest and was accompanied by Up-Adakshya (Soreng) CB Shah Shankar as the special guest.

With a score of 2-1 goals, Ramhlun FC (Mizoram) emerged victorious beating Sikkim Police. The title of Man of the Match was awarded to K Vanal Hriatzuala of the winning team.

The tournament is organised by Jorethang Football Association in collaboration with Sports & Youth Affairs department, Sikkim Football Association and Organising Committee of Maghey Sankranti Mela 2026 and is being played as per the rules, regulations and guidelines laid down by All India Football Federation, the national governing body for football in India.
