CM interacts with young cricketers, applauds bright future of sports in Sikkim

PAKYONG,  (IPR): Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang spent time with the young players of the Sikkim Cricket Association at the Mining Cricket Ground, expressing satisfaction at meeting the emerging talents.

During his visit, the Chief Minister prepared and shared a meal with the players and engaged in discussions with them, calling the interaction a memorable experience. He appreciated the cricketers for their commitment to the sport, disciplined attitude, and determination to progress.

Emphasising the need to encourage talent at the grassroots level, he noted that the dedication displayed by the players indicates positive prospects for sports in the State. He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting young athletes and strengthening the sports culture across Sikkim.
