Governor congratulates Golay Government on completing one year of second term

GANGTOK, : Governor Om Prakash Mathur has extended his heartiest congratulations to Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay, and the State government on the successful completion of one year of its second term in office.

On this joyous occasion, the Governor stated that this milestone reflects the public’s trust, the government’s visionary approach, and inclusive leadership, a Raj Bhavan release informs.

The Governor noted that under the vision of building a ‘Sunaulo, Samriddha ani Samarth Sikkim’, the government has undertaken several commendable initiatives. These efforts have significantly contributed to the State’s sustainable development, cultural prosperity, and overall citizen's welfare, he said.

The Governor has also noted that this year marks the Golden Jubilee of Sikkim’s Statehood, a significant occasion that highlights the State’s rich cultural heritage, social harmony, and the resilience of its people.

Further, the Governor expressed gratitude to the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for their continued support and cooperation in Sikkim’s development journey. Additionally, he expressed hope that the Government of Sikkim will continue to strive with the same dedication and energy in the years ahead and take the State to even greater heights, the release mentions.
