GANGTOK,: The Sikkim's Top Model Season 6 and Mini Model Season 5 finale took place on January 11 at Manan Kendra here. The event was graced by chief guest Deputy Mayor Palden Bhutia, and the guest of honour, chairman of Schedule Caste/Tribe Welfare Association Shekar Sewa, along with Phurba Tshering, and attended by the CEO, Manjita Majhi.
There were a total of 58 contestants in 4 categories. The Mini Model category had 22 contestants, who were further divided by age groups 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 years old. The Top Model category had 36 contestants, where the ‘Teens’ category had 20, the ‘Miss’ category had 10, and ‘Mrs.’ Category had 6.
The jury panel included Nirmal Rai, DSP Sikkim Police Communication Branch, Jane Pala, award winning actress, Meghalaya, Ayush Kr. Singh, businessman, social worker and India president of Bharatiya Paris Club, Anu Pradhan, first Miss Sikkim 1999, Isabella Gurung, Staff Reporter of Sikkim Express and Dibya Parash Chettri, former Runner up Mrs. Sikkim’s Top Model, Season-5 and winner of Stage Dream Season2.
The fashion choreographer was Prashant Ghosh for the Top Model ramp, and Prabha Pradhan for the Mini Model ramp.
The pageant also hosted various dance and musical performances, as well as a solo ramp walk by Donila Bhutia, Sikkim's Top Model 2024 finalist, Suresh Singh Arubham’s evening gown collection showcase, Dawa creations’ handicrafts showcase and Sneha Subba’s (Dress me up Boutique and Rentals) evening gown collection.
In the 4-6 group of Mini Model segment, the winner was Rikzing TW Bhutia, and the 2nd and 1st runners up were Ananya Rai and Rignic Bhutia, respectively. The winner of the 7-9 group was Samrika Pradhan, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up were Nathanael Giri, Rihanna Pariyar, and Norsang Dolma Lepcha, respectively. The 10-12 group’s winner was Andrela Gurung, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up were Anjula Dolma Bhutia, Aayushna Dolma Bhutia, Upashna Subba.
In the Teen category, the Winner was Ayushi Pradhan. The 1st runners up was Jasmine Abedin, the 2nd runners up was Kessang Lhamu Bhutia and 3rd runners up was Samiksha Neopaney.
In the Miss category, the winner was Nikila Bhutia, with the 1st runners up being Pratiksha Rai, 2nd runners up being Pranita Rai and 3rd runners up being Riyanka Thapa.
In the Mrs. category, the winner was Dr. Anjana Pradhan. The 1st runner up was Sillu Thapa and the 2nd runner up was Yamuna Gurung.
