The theme for the event was ‘Empowering Dreams & Building Futures for Viksit Bharat’, wherein the first batch of the Medhavi College of B Sc Nursing took an oath to mark the beginning of their academic journey.

In his address, Dhakal emphasized the pivotal role of skill development in shaping the future of the next generation, particularly in the face of rapid technological advancements. He underscored the importance of harnessing these skills to drive growth in India's agriculture and horticulture sectors.

Furthermore, Dhakal stressed the need to preserve traditional skills such as weaving, wood carving, and embroidery, incorporating them into MSU's programs to foster an appreciation of heritage and ancestral knowledge.

In congratulating MSU on their new initiatives, he suggested expanding their curriculum to include skill training for caregivers, in addition to nursing, citing it as a pressing need of the hour.
