GANGTOK,: Singling SC on Wednesday thrashed Darjeeling XI 10–0 to register their fifth consecutive win in the ongoing Senior Women’s Football League 2026 at Paljor Stadium here.
Simran Gurung struck four goals, while Karishma Rai netted a hat-trick for Singling SC. Kiran Pista added a brace and Laxmi Tamang contributed one goal to complete the rout.
Minu Hangma Limboo of Singling SC was declared Player of the Match.
With the emphatic victory, Singling SC from Soreng district finished the league stage unbeaten with five wins from five matches to top the table. The tournament favourites will face Milan More FA (Siliguri) in the first semi-final on March 6.
Milan More FA booked their semi-final berth with a commanding 6–0 win over Northerners SC (Mangan district) in another match played on the day. Player of the Match Anisha Munda led the charge with four goals, while Ankita Tanti scored twice.
The crucial win saw the Siliguri side collect six points from five matches to claim the final semi-final spot.
The other two semi-final berths had already been secured by Gangtok Himalayan SC and Chujachen SA (Pakyong district), who accumulated nine points each from their previous four matches.
The two sides later played out a goalless draw in the final match of the day and are set to face each other in the second semi-final on March 6.
The league is being organised by the Sikkim Football Association, with Generali Central Insurance Company as the title sponsor.
