GANGTOK: Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) vice president Bhaichung Bhutia launched the party’s mobile application named ‘Hamro App,’ at the party head office at Deorali today.
HSP spokesperson Biraj Adhikari, who developed the app, told media that since inception HSP has been a youth centric party. “We developed the party app for the use of youths, especially party cadres,” he said.
The app is available for download on the Google play store. It also has options for making donations to the party and access other resources of the Hamro Sikkim Party. Shaking the handset while accessing the application would also sound the party slogan, ‘Jai Hamro Sikkim Party,’ it was informed.
HSP vice president Bhaichung Bhutia congratulated Biraj Adhikari for the approach and added that this app is the future of all political parties whether it be local or national.
“The app will make the party accountable and transparent. Till date there is no political party which is transparent and accountable but we have initiated it and we are hopeful will definitely attain success. Though a small gesture by our party but we are certain that this will put an end to envelope politics that exists,” added Bhaichung.
