ITBP battalion organises Delhi tour for local students

  A group of three teachers and 29 students from Chungthang and Lachen left to Delhi-Agra tour organised by Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) under its Civic Action Plan.
The educational tour was flagged off by second-in-command Rajeev Gupta of the 11th battalion from battalion headquarters at Pegong.
During the tour, the students will be visiting historical and places of importance in Delhi and NCR and will be meeting senior politicians and dignitaries. The motive behind this tour is to educate the children of border areas about the historic places and to gain experience from the political achievers, so that they will be benefitted from this in their near future, informs a press release.
