Sikkim Supreme launches carbonated soft drinks

Forging ahead to bring back its past glory, the Government Fruit Preservation Factory (GFPF) better known as Sikkim Supreme has now entered into carbonated soft drinks range.
Speaking on the occasion of its launching, GFPF managing director Pawan Awasthy said the plans for entering into soft drink segment was conceptualized a year ago in order to give some competition to big brands like Coca Cola, Pepsi which has a huge demand in the neighboring market. The flavor launched now is Orange–Lemon since the Mandarin oranges from Sikkim has unique taste and flavor. He further added that few more exciting flavors are in the offing and shall be introduced in the market soon, a press release informs.
Sikkim Supreme has an ambitious plan to market the range of carbonated soft drinks in the State of Sikkim, North Bengal and North Eastern States. Also Sikkim Supreme had recently introduced carbonated soda which is already available in the market. The products are presently distributed through its existing distributor network and are available at discounted prices from the factory outlet at Singtam, STDC outlet in MG road and SIMFED outlet at Siliguri SNT complex.
Regarding the future plans about introduction of more new products in the near future,  the managing director informed that trials are been carried out for introduction of dehydrated products and Sikkim Supreme would also enter into the segment of fruit-based chocolates.
