99 cops transferred in one day

Continuing with the transfer spree, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) government on Tuesday transferred 70 senior police officers from the rank of additional DGP to SDPO.
ADGP Akshay Sachdeva, presently director of Fire & Emergency Services, has been transferred and posted as Recovery Officer, State Bank of Sikkim, Gangtok on deputation as per the DoP order.
IGP Avichal would also be holding the charge of director of Fire & Emergency Services.
DIG Sarda Rani Lepcha (planning and modernisation) would be holding the independent charge.
DIG (Sikkim Vigilance Police) Sonam Tenzing Bhutia was posted as DIGP (Range) with the incumbent DIG (Range) D.B. Giri posted as DIG of Home Guards and Civil Defence.
DIG Rajiv Ranjan has been transferred from Training to Sikkim Vigilance Police.
Sikkim Armed Police CO Prawin Gurung has been transferred as the SP of South Sikkim while SP (south) Manish Kumar Verma is posted as SP (CID).
SP (Special Branch) Hari Prasad Chettri was posted the SP of East Sikkim. The incumbent SP (East) Hem Raj Rai has been posted as principal, Police Training Centre, Yangang.
DIG (Home Guards and Civil Defence) Khilbuma Gurung was posted as the CEO of Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation on deputation.
2nd IRBn CO Sonam Gyatso Bhutia has been posted as SP of North Sikkim while SP (North) Kunzang Dorjee Sangderpa is the new CO of the 2nd IRBn at Pipaley.
Police Training Centre principal Dhirendra Lama was transferred as the SP of Sikkim Vigilance Police.
SP (Traffic, South & West) Linda Palmu is transferred and posted as OSD, Mines and Geology department on deputation.
Tulshi Chettri, 2nd IC/1st IRBn, Delhi has been posted as CSO to the Chief Minister, Special Branch.
A total of 29 police inspectors were also transferred on Tuesday. Among them, Gangtok Sadar police station SHO Bikash Tiwari has been posted to Dentam police station. Pakyong police station SHO Bijendra Thapa is the new Gangtok Sadar police station SHO.
Police inspector Sameer Pradhan from Vigilance, Gangtok has been posted as the Namchi police station SHO. The other new SHOs are Chandra Bahadur Shilal for Geyzing police station, Niraj Khatiwada for Soreng police station, Shanta Bahadur Gurung for Singtam police station, Harka Bahadur Pradhan for Rhenock police station, Tashi Chopel Bhutia for Rongli police station, Zigmee Wangchuk Bhutia for Pakyong police station, and Sonam Tobgay Bhutia for Rabongla police station.
