CM to represent Sikkim at India Today Conclave 2025

GANGTOK, (IPR): In a proud moment for Sikkim, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang is set to take center stage at the prestigious India Today Conclave 2025. He will join Union Minister Mr Kiren Rijiju in a high-profile discussion on the Northeast’s growing role in India’s development.

Titled “The Sun Rises in the Northeast,” the session will highlight the region’s increasing influence and its potential to shape the nation’s future. As a key leader from the Northeast, the Chief Minister’s participation highlights Sikkim’s rising prominence on the national stage.

The Chief Minister has also emerged as the most popular Chief Minister in his home State, according to India Today’s Mood of the Nation poll, securing an impressive 62.1% approval rating. This overwhelming support is seen as a strong endorsement of his visionary leadership and people-centric governance.

At the conclave, the Chief Minister is expected to put forth Sikkim’s perspectives on key issues, ensuring that the state’s voice is heard in national policy discussions.
