GANGTOK,: Sikkim-lad Revan Pradhan has made the State proud by winning the coveted Rubaru Mr. India 2023 Northeast title during the grand finale held at Goa on August 5. He also won the 'Model of the Year Northeast' sub-title.
The 21-year-old Gangtok youth is from 6th Mile, Tadong and an alumnus of Taktse International School. He is currently studying in SMIT, Majitar near Rangpo.
Revan Pradhan, who stands at an impressive height of 6.3 feet, is a fitness enthusiast and passionate about adventure sports. He was spotted during the auditions held on May 26 at Gangtok.
Along with Revan Pradhan, two other contestants Nawang Tshering Bhutia and Mohammad Adarsh, were selected to represent their regions, Kalimpong and Siliguri, respectively, during the audition helds in Siliguri.
Nawang won the sub-title ‘Peoples’ Choice’ award and ‘Face of the year Northeast’ while Md. Adarsh won ‘best hair’ sub-title.
The auditions for the 19th Rubaru Mr. India 2023 in Sikkim, Kalimpong, and the Darjeeling district were held in Siliguri and Gangtok on May 19 and 26, which were curated by Yougan Tamang, the State director of Rubaru Mr. India. Approximately 40 individuals participated in these auditions.
