GANGTOK, : The Sikkim BJP conducted a comprehensive coordination meeting at
Heegaon in West Sikkim on Tuesday in the presence of senior State leadership.
A
State BJP press release informs that the meeting was attended by State BJP president
D.R. Thapa, vice president N.K. Subba, general secretary Dinesh Chandra Nepal,
State secretary Bijoy Prasad Subba, Geyzing District president Digum Limboo,
along with senior party executives, Mandal presidents, and other key
functionaries.
The
primary agenda of the meeting was to enhance grassroots organisational
strength, activate booth-level committees, and ensure massive participation in
the upcoming programmes commemorating 12 Years of Modi Government at the
Centre.
Addressing
the gathering, the State BJP president highlighted the major programmes
directed by the party to mark 12 years of transformative governance under Prime
Minister Narendra Modi. He urged all party functionaries to actively
participate in key outreach initiatives including World Environment Day, Jan
Kalyan Sivir, Swatchata Abhiyan, International Yoga Day, and other
public-centric programmes.
Thapa
emphasised the need to take the benefits and achievements of central government
schemes to the last person in society. He also reviewed the current
organisational functioning and activities across the district, the release
mentions.
During
the meeting, Thapa formally welcomed 8 families who joined the BJP, further
strengthening the party’s base in Maneybung Dentam.
State
BJP vice president N.K. Subba called upon all functionaries to strictly follow
party directives, ensure seamless coordination at all levels, and work
dedicatedly for the successful implementation of the assigned programmes.
Earlier
in the day, during the State BJP president’s organisational visit to Darap
under Yangthang constituency, 16 families formally joined the BJP.
The
new members were welcomed by the State leadership and pledged to work under the
guidance of the party’s state unit, inspired by the development vision of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, said the State BJP.
