GANGTOK,: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay on Saturday attended the
swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed BJP Government in West Bengal, marking
a significant political development in the State.
During
the function held at Brigade Parade Ground in central Kolkata, the Sikkim Chief
Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to West Bengal
Chief Minister SuvenduAdhikari and all members of the newly inducted cabinet
who took oath as part of the first BJP-led government in West Bengal.
The
ceremony was held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose
leadership was acknowledged during the event.
Describing
the occasion as a historic moment, the Sikkim Chief Minister stated that the
formation of the new government marks the beginning of a new chapter focused on
development, good governance, and progress for the people of West Bengal. He
expressed confidence that the new administration would work with dedication
