Sikkim minister attends review meeting on NHIDCL road projects in NE

GANGTOK,: Sikkim Roads & Bridges minister Nar Bahadur Dahal attended the two-day review meeting at New Delhi on national highway projects being implemented by the NHIDCL in the Northeastern region.

The meeting assessed 18 projects covering 260 km in Sikkim, underscoring the State's infrastructure development, a press release on Tuesday informs.

Dahal lauded Union Road Transport & Highways minister Nitin Gadkari for his visionary leadership and NHIDCL's efforts in upgrading Sikkim's infrastructure. He also assured his support for the timely completion of projects, facilitating smoother collaboration between NHIDCL and the State administration.

This meeting brought together key stakeholders, including State administrators, AE, and EPC contractors, to evaluate project progress and resolve pending issues. By working together, they aim to overcome challenges and ensure the timely completion of critical infrastructure projects, the release mentions.
