Lok Sabha MP attends Standing Committee meeting on consumer affairs & food security

GANGTOK,:  Lok Sabha MP (Sikkim) Indra Hang Subba on Thursday attended the meeting of the Standing Committee on Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution at New Delhi.

The meeting, chaired by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, marked a preliminary and introductory session focused on outlining key subjects that the committee will deliberate on in the coming months, a press release informs.

Expressing his views on being part of the committee, Indra Hang stated, "I am honored to be a member of this significant committee, which addresses issues that are directly related to the daily lives and well-being of our people. Matters such as consumer protection, food security, and public distribution are critical to ensuring a just and equitable society.
