Ministry team takes stock of Central flagship schemes in Mangan District

MANGAN, (IPR): An entry meeting with the National Level Monitoring (NLM) team from the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and District Officials was held in the chamber of DC Mangan.

The objective of NLM team’s visit in the district is to conduct monitoring of the programmes of Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Panchayati Raj in the district.

The meeting was chaired by Pema Wangchen Namkarpa, Additional District Magistrate Mangan. Also present were Kashi Raj Limboo ADC (Dev) Managn, BDOs, along with district officers and officials from line departments.

During the meeting, the NLM team had a discussion with district officials on the assessment of progress and implementation status of various flagship programmes, including Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Youjana (DDU-GKY), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana-Watershed Development Component (PMKSY-WDC), Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI), Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) and basic verification of Panchayats.

Additionally, the district officials shared updates on the current implementation status and highlighted both achievements and challenges encountered in the district.

It is to be mentioned that the NLM team will be visiting 10 Gram Panchayat Units in Mangan district to assess the implementation of the said schemes.
