Butthanfounder in Sikkim to promote South Asian martial arts

GANGTOK: YureeVajramuni, the founder of Butthan martial arts, is in a five-day tour of Sikkim to promote the martial art.
Butthan is a hybrid system containing elements from Chinese, Indian, Myanmar (Burmese) and Tibetan martial arts styles. According to International Butthan Federation, Butthan is known as the “noble art of stopping-fight and enlightenment” and produces “physical, mental and spiritual balance.”
Vajramuni said, “We are starting our schools and colleges soon in Sikkim and other parts of the country. Butthan will help the individual learn the art of self-defence and personal development. With the establishment of such schools and colleges we want to revive this South Asian heritage.”
Vajramuniinformedthat he had a fruitful meeting with State Sports secretary KuberBhandari.
