GANGTOK,: The third round of auditions of Siana Glam World presents Glam Miss Sikkim and Glam Miss Teen Sikkim, in association with the Tourism & Civil Aviation department was held at Blueberry Banquet and Spa, near District Court here today.

The judges for the day were Siana Glam World director Srijana Bista, Glam Miss Teen Sikkim 2019 Tanushree Thapa and Glam Miss Sikkim 2019 Pema Choden Bhutia.
With the theme ‘a step towards healing earth’, the pageant will train the girls to work for projects related to environment protection. The grand finale is scheduled in the third week of January 2021.
The overall enrolment was 141 contestants from all four districts of Sikkim, among whom 30 girls will be shortlisted for the grooming session, with two finalists from Bojoghari Children’s Home orphanage for the teen event.
“We will shortlist 15 girls each for Glam Miss Sikkim and Glam Miss Teen Sikkim for the grand finale to be held in the third week of January 2021. Two girls will be exclusively from Bojoghari orphanage, and they will be sponsored by the organising team,” informed Srijana.
The girls will be groomed by Pune fashion choreographer Pooja Singh for 12 days before the grand finale at Blueberry Banquet and Spa, she added.
There will be no bikini round for the two beauty pageants this edition, shared the director.
Glam Miss Sikkim and Glam Miss Teen Sikkim 2020 will receive cash prize and gift vouchers worth Rs 1 lakh and gift hampers, the organising team informed.
The first judge for the grand finale will be MTV Supermodel of the Year 2019 Manila Pradhan.
The mega audition for the beauty pageant will be held in the next few weeks.
For Glam Miss Teen Sikkim, the qualifying age group is 13-19 years and for Glam Miss Sikkim, the qualifying age group is 18-26 years, said the organisers.
Glam Miss Sikkim and Glam Miss Teen Sikkim is a celebration of beautiful young dreamers, said the organisers. The annual state beauty pageant selects representatives to compete in various beauty pageants across the nation.
The beauty pageant aims at conveying a message that beauty is not just in the mere looks but in the complete balance of inside-out beauty and confidence to inspire others, said Saina Glam World.
