BJP opens office at Kazitar

GANGTOK:State BJP president D.B. Chauhan inaugurated the party’s office at Kazitar in Namchi, south district today. BJP south district president C.L. Gurung, general secretary Kumar Rai, youth leader Arjun Rai and other functionaries were also present.
On the occasion, former zilla upadhyakshya Devi Maya Baraily joined the BJP. She was welcomed by president Chauhan, a BJP release informs.
Addressing the gathering, Chauhan said the BJP today has become the second largest party in the State and exhorted the party workers to make it even larger. He also iterated the party’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash’ for which it is working together with the SKM government.
The State BJP president further shared that the party would be celebrating Sewa Saptah from September 14 to 20 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. During the week, party would be engaged in various services of the people, awareness programmes, cleanliness and blood donation drives.
