Bridges connecting Singtam sealed

SINGTAM: Police have directed the closure of Rainbow bridge (Indreni Pul) connecting Singtam town with Adarshgaon and Sirwani bridge connecting south district in the wake of several Covid-19 cases reported from Singtam.
On the directions of the south district collector, police posted at Adarshgaon has restricted movement of vehicles except those in essential services and medical emergency between Singtam and Adarshgaon. Only those having necessary permit from district authorities have been allowed to move.
A similar restriction has been placed at Sirwani bridge which has also been sealed and police and IRBn personnel have been deployed at both the bridges.
