DPS Fulbari successfully hosts first TEDx school event

GANGTOK,: Delhi Public School (DPS) Fulbari hosted the first-ever TEDx school event in North Bengal, ‘TEDxDPSFulbariYouth’ on Saturday.

The landmark event brought together thought leaders, innovators, and creative minds under the inspiring theme, ‘EDGE’—Explore, Discover, Grow, Excel, informs a press release.

The event was graced by DPS Fulbari pro-vice chancellor Sharad Agarwal, director Snigdha Agarwal, principal Monowara B. Ahmed, and DPS Siliguri principal Anisha Sharma.

The TEDx platform featured an incredible line-up of speakers, including 10 bright minds from DPS Fulbari and DPS Siliguri.

Representing DPS Fulbari were Krishan Agarwal, Ahanjit Paul, Zainab Shoeb, Rida Kalimi, and Rishaan Choudhury, while DPS Siliguri was represented by Samridhi Ashra, Nehal Singh, Ivaan Bharadwaj, Aadya Agarwal, and Sinjini Banerjee. Additionally, two distinguished guest speakers, Karma Thendup Bhutia (IIT Bombay) and Shivika Mittal (politician), added immense value to the event with their inspirational talks.

Five-year-old Rishaan Choudhury ignited a spark on the TEDx stage with his joyful spirit and an imaginative mind. He has broken all barriers and made history as the youngest speaker to grace a TEDx stage in India.

Sinjini Banerjee, through her speech, highlighted the fact that in the fast-paced world of today, the true essence of happiness can only be gained through spirituality. 

Each speaker shared captivating stories woven with personal experiences, leaving the audience enthralled and inspired.

The powerful narratives encouraged new perspectives and sparked conversations that extended beyond the event.

TEDxDPSFulbariYouth successfully created a platform for young voices to share innovative ideas capable of driving positive change in society.

The enthusiasm of the audience further emphasized the importance of such events in fostering dialogue, creativity, and growth.
