DR Thapa re-elected as BJP Sikkim president

GANGTOK,: DR Thapa has been unanimously re-elected as the BJP Sikkim State president for the term 2024-2027, following the organisational elections held Saturday at the State BJP Office, Singtam.

The declaration was made by Election Officer V Muraleedharan, BJP NE co-coordinator in presence of members of the State Council and karyakartas, informs the State BJP.

Similarly, former LoP Narendra Kumar Subba has been unanimously elected as the Member of National Council for the term 2024-2027.

Addressing the gathering, newly elected State BJP president DR Thapa expressed his gratitude to the members of the BJP Sikkim family for their unwavering support. He also commended the team of Sangathan Parv for their tireless efforts in conducting organisational elections up to the State level, a press release informs.

Thapa urged all karyakartas to work collectively for the party's growth, while ensuring the welfare of the people through various schemes of BJP government.

Earlier, BJP NE co-coordinator V. Muraleedharan directed the BJP karyakartas to be vocal advocates for the people's causes and welfare. He urged them to play a decisive role as an opposition party in Sikkim, promoting accountability and good governance, the release mentions.
