Pragatisheel Aama Samman Puraskar presented to three outstanding beneficiaries under Aama Shashaktikaran Yojana

PAKYONG, (IPR): Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay presented the PragatishilAamaSammanPuraskar to three outstanding beneficiaries of the AamaShashaktikaranYojana under Women, Child, Senior Citizen, and Divyangjan Welfare Department, at Rangpo Goli Ground today, on the occasion of the 2nd AamaSammanDiwas.

Instituted under the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Grant (CMDG), the PragatisheelAamaPuraskar recognises beneficiaries of the AamaShashaktikaranYojana who have demonstrated determination, resilience and responsible utilisation of the financial assistance provided under the scheme.

The recipients were:

1. First Prize: Ms Indra Lepcha, Kaluk Bazaar, Gyalshing District

2. Second Prize: Ms GauriPradhan, LinkeyParakha, Pakyong District

3. Third Prize: Ms Sancha Rani Limboo, Mangshila–Tibuk, Mangan District

The three beneficiaries were felicitated for their entrepreneurial spirit, effective utilisation of the financial assistance and notable achievements. The first, second and third prize winners received cash awards of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively.

The award acknowledges mothers who, through hard work and perseverance, have transformed the assistance received under the scheme into sustainable livelihood opportunities, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and serving as an inspiration to others across the State.
