CAP Sikkim holds Geyzing District Executive Committee meeting

GANGTOK,: The Geyzing District Executive Council of the Citizen Action Party (CAP) Sikkim convened its District Executive Council Meeting today at the Geyzing District Party Office under the guidance of party president Shri Ganesh Kumar Rai.

A CAP Sikkim press release informs that the meeting focused extensively on strengthening the organisational framework of the party across Geyzing District through enhanced coordination between the District Executive Council, Assembly Constituency Executive Committees (ACECs), Unit Booth Council (UBCs), and Booth Level Agents (BLAs).

Deliberations centred on accelerating organisational expansion, intensifying the ongoing membership drive, consolidating grassroots structures, and ensuring the effective implementation of party programmes in all four Assembly Constituencies of the district. Preparations for the forthcoming Karyakarta Sabha were also reviewed in detail, with emphasis on greater participation and organisational discipline.

As part of the meeting, the Special Summary Revision Draft Electoral Rolls were formally handed over to the respective Assembly Constituency Executive Council (ACEC) presidents. Party leaders underscored the importance of the electoral roll revision process and urged all office bearers to actively engage in voter verification to ensure that every eligible citizen is duly enrolled in the electoral roll, the release mentions.

The presidents of the respective Assembly Constituency Executive Councils presented comprehensive reports on the organisational progress, membership expansion, and grassroots activities undertaken within their constituencies. The reports reflected encouraging organisational growth, increased public engagement, and a renewed commitment among party workers towards strengthening the party at the booth level.

CAP Sikkim district treasurer Sanjay Sharma presented the district financial report, highlighting the encouraging voluntary contributions received from party supporters and well-wishers across Geyzing District. The Executive Council appreciated the growing confidence reposed by the public and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining transparency and accountability in organisational affairs.

The meeting also witnessed constructive deliberations, with district leaders sharing valuable suggestions and practical recommendations aimed at enhancing organisational efficiency, strengthening coordination among various councils, and expanding the party’s outreach across the district.
