Sikkim’s Anita Chettri shines at 14th World Body Building and Physique Sports Championship

GANGTOK,: Anita Chettri of Dentam, West Sikkim, secured the fifth position in the Sports Physique (up to 165 cm) category at the 14th World Body Building and Physique Sports Championship held in Wonju, South Korea.

Anita, a staff nurse by profession at the District Hospital, Gyalshing, is also a REPS-certified personal trainer from the @K11 School of Fitness.

She is also a gold medalist at the 5th Miss Sukhim Women’s Physique Championship 2023, organised by the Body Building Association of Sikkim.

Three girls from Sikkim, viz. Nima Doma Tamang, Anita Chettri, and Sabina Rai, participated in the World Championship at Wonju, South Korea, as part of Team India.
