Sikkim football team in National School Games semifinal

GANGTOK,:  Sikkim team reached the semi-finals of National School Games football competition after defeating Maharashtra 2-0 in the quarter-final at Agartala, Tripura today.
Ongda Lepcha and Chris Nawang Sherpa scored a goal apiece.
In the pre-quarterfinal match, also played today, Sikkim defeated Kerala in sudden death after both teams scored 2 goals each in normal duration of match.
The semi-finals and final will be played tomorrow, a press release informs.
