BJP’s rising support base in Sikkim reflects growing trust of people: Thapa

GANGTOK,: In a significant boost to the BJP’s organizational strength in Sikkim, 23 families from Arithang constituency formally joined the BJP today, inspired by the party's ideology of nationalism, good governance, and the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a party press release informs.

The joining programme was graced by BJP Sikkim president DR Thapa, general secretary Arjun Rai, along with senior party leaders, executives, and karyakartas. The new members were accorded a warm welcome into the BJP family by the dignitaries present, reaffirming the party's commitment to expanding its grassroots network across the State.

Addressing the gathering, Thapa highlighted the BJP's ideology and its guiding principle of "Seva Hi Sangathan." He urged the new members to dedicate themselves to selfless public service by actively reaching out to people and creating awareness about the numerous welfare and developmental initiatives introduced by the Narendra Modi Government. He emphasized the importance of discipline, commitment, and unity in strengthening the party at every level, the release mentions.

The BJP State president further stated that the BJP is a cadre-based organization where every dedicated worker is provided with equal opportunities to grow, take on responsibilities, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building. He encouraged the new members to work with sincerity and integrity while upholding the values and discipline of the party.

Thapa also remarked that the continuous rise in the BJP's support base across Sikkim reflects the growing trust of the people in the party's leadership and policies.
