GANGTOK,: The Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club officially unveiled the logo of the
Sikkim Riders Meet (SRM) 2026, marking the beginning of what is set to become one
of India’s premier motorcycle tourism events. Scheduled to take place from
13–15 November 2026, the three-day gathering aims to bring together riders from
across the country while showcasing Sikkim as a leading motorcycle tourism
destination.
The
official logo was unveiled by PhurbaWangdiBhutia, Managing Director, State Bank
of Sikkim, and the State Brand Ambassador for Sikkim Riders Meet 2026, in the
presence of members of the riding community, dignitaries, tourism stakeholders,
and invited guests. The ceremony marked the official launch of the event’s
identity and vision, a press release informs.
A
homegrown initiative with a national outlook, the Sikkim Riders Meet is
designed to celebrate motorcycling culture, adventure tourism, and the spirit
of responsible riding. The event welcomes motorcycles above 300cc, inviting
enthusiasts from across India to experience Sikkim’s breathtaking landscapes,
rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
More
than a gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts, the Sikkim Riders Meet aims to
strengthen Sikkim’s position as a premier adventure tourism destination. By
attracting riders from across the country, the event is expected to create
opportunities for the State’s tourism and hospitality sectors, benefiting
hotels, homestays, restaurants, cafés, transport operators, local
entrepreneurs, and artisans. The initiative also promotes responsible riding,
road safety, environmental consciousness, and sustainable tourism.
Speaking
on the occasion, the organisers from the Dirty Angels Motorcycle Club
reiterated their vision of establishing the Sikkim Riders Meet as an annual
flagship event that celebrates adventure, camaraderie, and the unique spirit of
Sikkim while creating lasting economic and tourism opportunities for the state.
The
logo launch officially marks the beginning of the countdown to Sikkim Riders
