GANGTOK, : Chief Minister PS Golay has expressed his heartfelt condolence on the
demise of PL Subba, the former MLA of Yangthang constituency in West Sikkim.
My
heart goes out to the bereaved family, relatives, and friends in this hour of
grief, and I pray that the departed soul rests in eternal peace, said the Chief
Minister in his condolence message on Tuesday.
Late
PL Subba hailed from Tikjek, West Sikkim. He passed away on Monday evening at
his home. He was 57 years and is survived by his wife, two daughters and three
sons.
Similarly,
the SDF has mourned the demise of PL Subba, who was a founder member and
advisor of the party.
In
his condolence message, SDF president and former Chief Minister Pawan Chamling
said the SDF has lost a sahayodha on the passing away of PL Subba.
His
contribution to the SDF party will not be forgotten…he was a loyal friend who
was committed to our party’s ideology, said Chamling
“This
is a day of mourning not just for his family but for the entire SDF party and
the State. A great loss has come upon us all and especially upon his family and
dear ones. On behalf of the SDF party, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his
family,” said Chamling.
