International award for Sikkim’s Dr. Sneha Sharma

GANGTOK,: Sikkim’s Dr. Sneha Sharma has been honored with the PFA International Student Undergraduate Certificate of Merit 2024, making her the sole merit scholar from the Northeast to receive this prestigious recognition.

Daughter of Shanti Prasad Sharma and Namrada Sharma, Dr. Sharma hails from Chota Singtam.

The award ceremony was held in Indore on December 8, celebrating her exceptional achievements in dentistry education.

The PFA International Student Undergraduate Certificate of Merit is the highest international award for undergraduate students in dentistry in India.

Dr. Sharma pursued her dental education at RIMS Imphal Dental College, Manipur, joining in 2018. During her studies, she was the college topper and won two gold medals at the university level. Earlier this year, she also received the Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD) Award.
