Sikkim Utsav at Santiniketan

GANGTOK,: Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre in collaboration with Culture department, Government of Sikkim, organized ‘Sikkim Utsav’ at Srijani Silpagram Santiniketan, Bolpur in West Bengal. The event was held from February 12 to 14 to showcase the cultural diversity of Sikkim, a press release informs.
Dance troupes from different communities took part in the event.
Four visual artists from Oviya Arts Circle represented Sikkim. Parasmani Rai, Sagar Subba, Dhiraj Pradhan and Diwaker Lamichaney took part in the three-day painting workshop. They prepared a contemporary art from of paintings highlighting the beauty of Sikkim through their work, the release mentions.
