State BJP president tours Temi-Namphing

GANGTOK,: A State BJP team led by party president DR Thapa on Sunday toured Temi-Namphing which started with inauguration of the party’s new constituency-levcel office at Barmiok Phatak.

An organisational meeting was held at Pabong which saw 20 families taking up party’s membership, a State BJP release informs.

In his brief address, Thapa highlighted BJP's positive impact on Sikkim through various Central welfare schemes. He asserted that only the BJP possesses the capability to address the diverse political demands of Sikkim and called upon the people to give the BJP a chance to govern Sikkim towards a better future, the release mentions.

After the meet-up, responding to public demand, the State BJP team conducted a site visit to address grievances related to the construction of the national highway in Temi Namphing.

Acknowledging the concerns of affected families, the State BJP president pledged to personally advocate for justice with the Central government and Union minister Nitin Gadkari, the release mentions.
